In Chinese culture, it’s one of our core values to look after and respect our Mothers (and Fathers). Now we’re not saying that’s not the case in lots of cultures, but filial piety as it’s known in our culture, means to love and respect our parents and other elders and it’s a key virtue in Chinese and other East Asian cultures.

Essentially this means it’s the norm for us to respect our parent’s wishes when it comes to aspects of our lives and ensure they are looked after as they grow older, often having them move in with us if they need help.

So Mother’s Day is an extra special time for us and we know it’s for you too. That’s why we’ve created an extra special menu for Mother’s Day this year and we’re gifting a free glass of prosecco, house wine or your chosen soft drink to all mothers.

Signature Deep Fried Sharing Platter

This sharing platter starter has an amazing mix of delicious flavours and textures which are sure to be a real treat for your tastebuds. First up, the Kataifi Dragon Rolls are a unique take on the traditional Chinese rolls. These rolls are filled with prawn and kataifi pastry adds a lovely crispy, flakey texture to the roll.

Next up, our Teriyaki Chicken Skewers offer a great mix of sweet and savoury, with a rich umami flavour in every bite. Our Golden King Prawn Toast is perfect for seafood fans. The savoury, rich umami flour of prawn is delivered with every crispy bite you take.

The last dishes included with our sharing platter are the Golden Chicken and Cheese Rolls that have the consistency and look of a spring roll, but with a mouth-watering chicken and cheese filling.

Aromatic Crispy Duck

One of the dishes synonymous with Chinese cuisine, our Aromatic Crispy Duck is also one of our signature dishes and it’s sure to delight your taste buds. The combination of crispy skin, tender meat, fresh vegetables and tasty hoisin sauce all wrapped up in a pancake is delightful with every bite.

Chicken In Lychee Sauce

Often described as having a taste of a strawberry mixed with a pear coated in rose water, Lychee fruit has a really sweet and refreshing taste. Much like our sweet and sour dishes, Chicken In Lychee Sauce is a great choice if you’re looking for that delicious, sweet burst of flavour.

Crispy Kung Po Chicken

An amazing combination of tender chicken, peanuts and green onions in a deliciously sweet and spicy kung po sauce, served over hot jasmine rice or fried rice, what’s not to like? It really is a great combination and is sure to delight your tastebuds.

Fillet Steak With Mongolian or Black Pepper Sauce

Juicy fillet steak cooked to perfection so it melts in your mouth and served with your choice of either Mongolian or Black Pepper sauce. Mongolian sauce is a delectable combination of brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger and minced garlic, it’s so tasty, whilst our Black Pepper sauce has a lovely sweet, yet peppery taste and compliments the tender steak so well.

Stir Fried King Prawns With Asparagus

If you’ve never tried king prawns before, now is the time. With their sweet and buttery flavour and ‘chicken-like’ texture, they’re a popular choice. Stir-fried and served with fresh asparagus, it’s a great choice.

Tenderstem Broccoli in Garlic & Ginger Sauce

A tasty hybrid of Chinese kale and broccoli, tenderstem broccoli is a fantastic addition to any of your meals as a side dish. Especially when it’s been marinated in our ‘warm’ tasting garlic and ginger sauce.

Why not treat your Mother to one of our delicious desserts too? For just an extra £5 you can enjoy any of the desserts from our menu. Whether that’s our sweet and moist Grape Cake served with refreshing Jasmine Tea, the excellent combination of Oreo and Matcha in a fluffy cake or the classic and undeniably mouthwatering taste of Crème Brûlée with its rich custard base and hard, caramelised sugar topping.
